Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has ruled out talk of Sporting Lisbon striker Viktor Gyokeres but insisted the Gunners are keen to add more this summer.

Arsenal have already signed four new players in Kepa Arrizabalaga, Martin Zubimendi, Christian Norgaard and Noni Madueke, while Valencia defender Cristian Mosquera is completing paperwork and Viktor Gyokeres is in talks over bonus terms with Sporting Lisbon.

“It’s like a reset in the squad, with the เล่นบาคาร่า UFABET เว็บตรง ค่าคอมสูง new players coming in, there’s a new excitement and new energy. We’ve signed some important players, everyone knows we have to take it to the next level and that’s what we’re trying to do,” Arteta said of the new signings in Singapore ahead of Wednesday’s friendly against AC Milan.

When asked about the progress of the deal for Gyokeres. The Gunners boss replied: “I can’t comment on players who are not part of our team yet. When there is something clear, we will definitely make an official offer.”

“There’s still a lot of time in the transfer market and we’re still looking for new players. We don’t have enough players and we need to improve the depth and quality of the squad,” Arteta said.

“We are always looking for new players and until further notice we will focus on the players we have and I am pleased with what I have seen in the last 10-15 days.”
