Antony sends clear message to Manchester United over Real Betis stay

Manchester United winger Antony has given a clear indication that he wants to extend his stay at Real Betis following his loan move in the January transfer window.

As part of their loan agreement with United, Betis have agreed to cover a minimum of 84 per cent of Antony’s salary, which is in excess of £100,000 per week.
Betis have already made it clear that they are open to keeping Antony on a permanent deal, while United will now be looking to recoup a portion of the £82 million they spent on signing the 24-year-old from Ajax in 2022.
