Liverpool worst first-half form against Manchester City. Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp was disappointed. With his side’s substandard first-half performance in the 2-2 draw with Manchester in the Premier League last sunday.

In the first half. Manchester City played clearly better with seven shots. While Liverpool had one shot and didn’t hit the target. But in the second half, both sides scored 2 goals each, resulting in a 2-2 draw.

Klopp said after the game: “It was a very average first half from us or perhaps even worse. We were too sluggish both with and without possession. Plus playing in the city again. It was the worst half we ever played against them.”

“I was more than happy when I heard the whistle at the end of the first half. Because we needed to make a lot of adjustments and we did.”

“The second half was completely different. If we only played in the second half. We would have already won. But in the first half I was happy with the result (draw 0-0).”
